We are Anvil Street Drummers. 

We are a community drumming band, with members ranging from 10 years old to very old!  We play maracatu rhythms on drums called alfaias, and samba rhythms on drums called surdo's and other brazilian instruments.

The band is open to all members of the community although children must be accompanied by an adult.   We practice on Wednesday nights at St Mary and St John's Parish Church Hall between 6.30 pm and 9 pm.
